Andre Villas-Boas sacked by Chelsea’s Russian Billionaire – AVB Fan(s)

Andre Villas-Boas sacked by Chelsea’s Russian Billionaire – AVB Fan(s)

One of the best English football team – Chelsea fired its young manager Andre Villas-Boas by its owner Roman Abramovich a Russian Billionaire whom the latter paid £13.3 million when he bought from Porto. The news came soon after losing an important match to West Bromwich Albion this weekend.

Andre Villas-Boas after he successfully coached Porto with several wins had moved to Chelsea and became one of the youngest coach and the most expensive coach in English Football history.

Andre Villas-Boas and his team did not performed well as expected and the club only won 3 of their last 12 premier league games. However, we ought to ask, if it is the right time to part away with their talented young manager? Wouldn’t it be wise if Andre Villas-Boas stays till the end of the season? Not to forget the club still stood at 5th position in premier league chart.

That clearly tells us that they are still one of the best teams and a great contender for the top 4 teams that could qualify for the Championship next season. So, the question is – doesn’t Andre Villas-Boas require a little more time to straighten and makeover his ailing team? The likes of John Terry, Frank Lampard, Ashley Cole and Didier Drogba who were once the backbone of the team are now the major obstacles for the team, as they are now old and stubborn. They no more obey the voice of their young manager Andre Villas-Boas unlike his predecessors as he is younger than most of the senior players.

On the other hand, Andre Villas-Boas really regrets of joining the team as he witnessed that there are at least 3-4 unofficial self styled manager (John Terry, Frank Lampard, Ashley Cole and Didier Drogba) in the team. However, it is now a great relieved for AVB deep inside, since there was so much speculation on his performance ever since he joined Chelsea. The tabloids in their search for a huge pile of money bother AVB so much so that the latter could not concentrate on his game. These in turn has given so much pressure on him and his team.

If AVB had not been the manager of Chelsea, the team could have performed far better in the premier league games. However, AVB has made the team popular more than it ever was. So, since you are bade farewell, your fans are obliged to say ‘it was a great pleasure to have you and at the same time it is really sad to see you leave’.

Vive-la Andre Villas-Boas

God's miracle on me at London Airport

2 nights before the day of my flight, I was already done packing my 3 suitcases to have 64 kilograms in total and 1 hand baggage to take it with me inside the flight. I weighed several times so not to exceed the limit of free baggage weight. As, one more day left for my journey to India, I weigh again all of the suitcases and were still 64 kilograms exactly, and a hand baggage 13 kilograms for only 7 kilograms free. Exceeding this limit of free baggage allowance of 64+7 kilograms, any extra kilogram would be charge @32 GBP (Great Britain Pounds) and I already exceeded by 6 kilograms. I started to wonder what am I suppose to do, as I had to carry all that remains and I really cannot afford to pay for the extra 6 kilograms.
Finally, 21 feb 2011, the day has come for my departure and just to make sure of it I weigh again at the airport and still weigh the same amount of 64+13 kilograms. Then, I started to speak and pray to God asking him so that I would not have to pay, I prayed, prayed and prayed and I approach the customer agent who serves me ticket, she gave me the best window seat I always want and then I started loading my suitcases one after another.
As, my luggage was weighted and sent on to the conveyor, I was then ask to put my hand baggage on for screening, I held my hand back for once but I still have to do it, so,  just before the last check-in baggage went through. I was then told I have 6 kilograms extra on my hand baggage, and I then said nervously, Oh nooo Pleaseeee, at that point the agent pulled back my last suitcase of the conveyor saying you can put some in here as it is still light…then I said to her (the agent) Oh, thank you, thank you, thank you God, then I hurriedly stuff in some more into it and then I started to wonder and wonder for the thing that’s just happened…How good my Lord is for such a great miracle, and I did not stop wondering how my luggage turns out lighter on that fateful day. I was totally filled with joy and when I finished the check-in I rushed out to the open air of Terminal 3 Heathrow, London and continued to thank God for it on and on for such a great miracle which I did not expect at all.
So, I rung my Dad, my Mother-in-Law, my Mum, my lovely Wife and Peter Cordle, the elder of my church Lower Ford Street Baptist Church, Coventry to say thanks to God with me.
And, to conclude - I would say undeniably, we could even save money (I just saved 192 Great Britain Pounds) if we are Children of God. So let us all know Christ, come to Christ and accept him as our Saviour for he can take care of the rest.
